Everyone at PTPI World HQ was happy to hear that the EXPERIENCE group arrived safely yesterday to their jungle lodge. From the lack of emails (or posts on Facebook), we’re guessing that they don’t have internet access. So we’ll have to wait to hear about their walk to the canopy tower and their chat with the locals about how they are using ecotourism to sustain their native lifestyle in the jungle…
Got an email last night from my daughter, Claire, she said the jungle lodge is awesome and they’re having a great time! The cold weather didn’t keep them from eating delicious chocolate ice cream with brazil nuts. Yum!!
I just this morning received a message from our Peruvian ground operator who is with the group. She said they cannot get a signal, but are having a great (albeit COLD) time in the jungle! They travel to Sacred Valley today, where they should have service.
